i've just installed windows 10 on my pc and i've been trying to redownload FF14 so i can play it however when my download reaches around 470mb i keep gettings errors 30413 25008 20495

i've forwarded my ports

i've allowed FF14 through my firewall

i've tried disabling my firewall

i've reset my router and done everything else google search has told me i even deleted the folder and tried a fresh install same problem i just want to play the game, i just bought heavensward the other day too and i cant even bloody play it

Couple of things I would try.

1st Make sure Windows 10 is updated
2nd Check the Windows 10 firewall.

Honestly if nothing else is working contact the SE Support Team directly to see if they can provide any assistance.

firstly, general discussion isnt the place to ask for help with the problem you are having. second, from doing a quick google search, i was able to find possible solutions. using those, i will say your best bet is to continue making the download happen, restarting it every time it stops until completion.

If it is downloading until 470 mb, it wouldn't be your firewall, because it is clearly letting it. If it is stopping at that point everytime, it sounds like a corrupt file. Also, just because you delete the folder, does not mean it is off your computer. You need to manually drlete it from your registry, which you can google how to do, in order for it to be a clean install.

Only other thing it might be is if you have an anti-virus program lije Nortan that is blocking it without you knowing. Try disabling it completely if that is the case, those programs override the windows firewall often.

You definitely have enough free space on the drive, right? Are you downloading the patches through the game itself, downloading the Steam version, or downloading the installer?
