I Want To Help New People

I will start off by saying that I am not trying to advertise my stream and that is why I am not even going to link it throughout the post, but I have the ability to stream when I play and luckily enough with my job I get 4 days off, after working 4 days to do so. Therefore, I stream while playing and majority of the times it is FFXIV. Some days I get 10 viewers, some I get none, but I have brought a few people to try out the teial of the game. The amount of viewers is not inportant to me though, because I have no ambition to stream as a job. I have a family and as a parent it really isn't justifiable, but I do want to attract people to the game.

Mainly, I want to hear other people's thoughts on what they woukd think would be appealing to newer players.

I feel like the game can be intimidating for someone who has not spent any time in game if I talk about the rotations, positionals, cross-class skills, jobs, etc. Maybe I could make videos to explain different aspects for newcomers, but what, as a player, do you feel a person shoukd understand about the game? Otherwise, I feel as if people who stop by are just watching a pretty light show with all the skills going off. I would just love to see the game at the top, because it has the potential.
