Malevolent Moggle Mogwand crafting recipe?

So, I've been levelling my Alchemist like crazy and got all the way to lvl 59 without seeing the Malevolent Moggle Mogwand crafting recipe appear.

This was my sole reason for levelling Alchemist (I like the one-handed weapon...sue me); have they removed the recipe now the two handed is out?

A quick look on something like http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki would have told you how to craft it. Of course you might not have know this but this is 1 of many good sites out there that really come in handy for stuff like this so if you don't use it atm, you might find it will come in handy in the future.

If I'm not mistaken it's the weapon shown below that you're looking to craft.



As you might be able to see in the screenshot above, it requires you to have "Master Alchemist: Demimateria". To get this I'd say buy 1 "Fieldcraft Demimateria I" & 1 "Battlecraft DemiMateria I" from the marketboard then teleport to Mor Dhona - Revenant's Toll, then speak with an npc called "Talan" at co-ordinates X:22.0, Y:6.8 & choose the "Master Crafting Tomes" option. You should be able to trade the Fieldcraft Demimateria I & 1 Battlecraft DemiMateria I to him for the Master Alchemist: Demimateria book. Use the book then you should be able to craft that weapon you wanted among other weapons aswell.

Master Alchemist: Demimateria is not the only place to find new recipes, either. I believe that there are a total of six different books of recipes to collect, so if you're high enough level to craft something and still can't see it in your list, it may be in one of those books:

- Master Alchemist: Glamours (Used for making Glamour Prisms, acquired from Tataroga in Revenant's Toll, Mor Dhona)
- Master Alchemist: Demimateria (Used for many recipes involving Demimateria, acquired from Talan in Revenant's Toll, Mor Dhona)
- Master Alchemist I (Used for advanced level 50 recipes, acquired from Talan in Revenant's Toll, Mor Dhona)
- Master Alchemist II (Used for very advanced level 50 recipes, acquired from Talan in Revenant's Toll, Mor Dhona)
- Master Alchemist III (Used for advanced level 60 recipes, acquired from Scrip Exchange in Revenant's Toll, Mor Dhona, or in Idleshire)
- Master Alchemist IV (Used for very advanced level 60 recipes, acquired from Scrip Exchange in Revenant's Toll, Mor Dhona, or in Idleshire)
