where can i get 50+ doh gear?

i just reached 50 in all doh jobs. Where can i find +50 gear? the only gear i see is level 55 gear

Actually, to expand on Switch's answer it depends on whether you want crafted or traded gear. At level 50 there isn't any reason to go out of your way for the Supra tools, but a good mainhand can carry you a good way into your 50's. The materials for it are easier to come by these days, so it can make for smoother HQ crafting until you're ready to upgrade (level 54).

Truth be told, even the best gear in other slots is outdone by the level 52 crafted gear (HQ) you'll have access to. Unless you can get a really good price on the artisan gear, it's not really worth investing in at this stage.

I wish I knew this before I made my own forager gear and melded it.

I used the patrician gear on all my classes then used the 54 holy rainbow set, melded with the natural slots with the grade 3/2 materia I had in storage. Used that set until 60.

At 60, I geared with the normal whites/overmelded then got bsm main hand then bsm-> specialists~> rest their secondaries. Crafted the omni peices, then got specialists to 3 star with just a top on each one and either red script main or quadmelded crafted. (rest whites/omni.)
