You just asked if you detected a bit of self loathing but it seems you're the one who has a problem distinguishing serious context from a random comment. Are you saying all these old western movies with cowboys and so on are an insult to americans? Even many recent ones. Thats what it seems to me.

Agreed seems to be somethng that happens on american servers never ever have i seen a votekick on any duty including void ark and any of the crystal towers to get a new player in. The only vote kicks where due to afk people and the occasional troll.

Just because you never personally seen it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Constantly. I've not played on the FFXIV EU Data Centre but have played other games where NA & EU have been separate & there's definitely a phenomenon where US players have zero tolerance, as well as thinking ruining games for others is "fun".

Not to say that there's not similar people in other countries, of course, but it is a big problem in the NA Data Centre here.

I've never run into that in Void Ark, or any of the CT runs. I've seen plenty of trolls that have been dismissed, or people who afk at the start hoping to go unnoticed, but thats about it.

Blaming Americans (whether continental or just the States) and blaming WoW players seems to be the norm. Jest or not, it's a bit old.

Regardless of demographic, it's assholes being assholes, unfortunate, but nothing new.

Alot of the times this crap happens, the majority of the party is from one FC/LS, and when you get to the last boss, or so far into a dungeon/raid a friend of theirs pops on and wants in, and someone gets booted to get them in. It's a sad thing, but something that has frequently happened.

They could fix that - count all votes in any dismiss vote thing, that come from people in the same FC or in a LS together - as just one vote that goes the way the majority of them voted.

This way, if people wanted to do pre-mades, they would fully construct them at the start, and not put them together as the run went on.
