Don't get me wrong with what I said earlier. Yeah, I'm not paying attention to the game, but I am still manually pressing the button. I'm just playing the game blind. Any actual bots should be dealt with (banned or otherwise) and this includes turbo-controlling and going afk.

I don't think people should be passing judgment as long as the process of "playing the game" with regards to crafting can be described as "Spamming enter."Don't get me wrong with what I said earlier. Its not fair to players to have to suffer through laborious, mundane tasks that offer no real enjoyment -- and the crafting systems are still pretty important to the game. Botting isn't a good way to counter the issue, but I can understand where it comes from. If the task was interesting enough no one would even want to bot, but as it stands, you can't blame someone for not wanting to watch himself press and release the enter button in repetitive intervals.
That aside, I'm not a fan of how people are already starting to accuse every Rank 50 crafter of botting -- Some people have been at this for over a year, accusing them for botting is rude and pretentious. Having all crafts at rank 50 by now is not so daunting of a feat that an attitude like that should be acceptable.

That's a ridiculous line to draw. You should get banned for holding down a turbo controller, but as long as you're the one pressing the button constantly it's fine, even if you're not there?Don't get me wrong with what I said earlier. So, what if you are physically holding down the turbo button? Is that bannable?
The fact of the matter is the gameplay systems encourages this degenrative gameplay. It would behoove them to fix the gameplay so that it's more rewarding to actually play, than to try to force people to sit at their computer and press enter for hours on end.
There is no reward they could give me to entice me to want to craft.
I would always choose a machine to craft for me, if possible, regardless of the reward.
Kinda like we do in real life... machines craft for us...
(If I were to craft.)
I find your logic extremely hard to understand. You say bots should be dealt with for using a turbo controller???Don't get me wrong with what I said earlier. If your time has any value at all, and you had a turbo controller, you would indeed be using it instead of sitting there like a monkey hitting a single button for hours on end. The crafting system is this game is arguably the most tedious and uninteresting of all systems ever invented in mmo game history and is simply not intended for humans. I wouldn't feel guilty in the slightest bit for using a turbo controller. And you are right, I see people craft botting constantly, and rightfully so.
