You don't want to miss on things like Ansel!?... Then throw away your useless PS3 and get a PC!...
PS4 Limitations and soon XBoxOne Limitations.

The excuse isn't old. It's an endless cycle reborn within the next gen consoles. Face it. As long as this game is on consoles with cross platform capabilities for online play; it's never going to get nice things like Ansel unless the consoles can acquire it to. It's for this reason why mods and parses are against the ToS; yet they still allow you to use them at your own risk. It's not that the company is against them per say. Just that they're trying to make everything fair for all of their customers. They don't want to allow only half of their consumers to be granted nice features and screw over the other half simply for playing on the wrong platform. They would lose subs like that.

SE have already shown themselves willing to implement stuff on one platform but not on others (or in a degraded capacity). PS4's shiny floors, for example, were never a thing on PS3, and don't forget about the half-sized WXHB PS3 got. So crying "console limitations" is, as usual, nonsense.

Will PS4 and XBoxOne support eventually start to "hold back" the game? Perhaps - but it won't be for meaningless fluff features like Ansel. If SE considers it a feature worth putting into the game, and whose profits will outweigh the development costs, they'll add it for PC.
