But it's not the same house. You're buying a house as a private house but want it to have functions of an FC house. I'm sorry, but I have to agree - if you want the FC features, make an FC. It's as simple as that.
As long as you getting a personal house means an FC can't get a house there, the price should remain the same.
The issue here isn't the price, but the availability. Fix the availability and you can fix the price.
I don't think a personal house should have exactly the same features as an FC house. You already get the garden, the stable and crafting stations in a personal house and you can queue for the Diadem without being in a FC.
The workshop gives FCs something they can do together and that's important to a lot of us. The Aetherial wheels and the Airships should remain FC exclusives, otherwise there is absolutely no benefit to being in a FC, in fact you'd probably be better off going it alone. As people have stated above, it's an MMO; you don't have to cooperate with others but you shouldn't expect to get the same benefits that are earned by people who do.
My opinion on the subject hasn't changed but I concede that I appear to be alone and without any support for the idea so I won't keep pushing it beyond this post. I continue to think that people with personal houses should either a) get to enjoy the feature of crafting their own airships and doing their own airship ventures (being allowed also to invite their friends to go with them on their airships without needing to be in same FC like expanding the non-FC diadem option already in game to cover also personal house owners) or b) not have to pay the same price as the FC version of a house if do not get to have access to the same features.
I do not think it is ideal to force people to make an new FC to get this feature because I am coming from the point of view of not wanting to leave a nice FC and splintering it/tearing friendships apart to form a new one just so can enjoy this feature...so I would prefer the feature itself linked to the owning of any house and not restricted to being the leader of a separate FC with in order to enjoy a nice feature of home ownership in my opinion. But like I said I have to admit I appear to be getting no support for my idea here which is very disappointing, such is life and I can't expect everyone to agree with every idea I have or everything I say.
Maybe another alternative would be to allow anyone in an FC to use an FC's workshop to make their own airships, do their own ventures and being tied to their character rather than the house itself...not requiring permission or stepping on other members (including the FC leaders) toes caused by the current limitations in order to do make use of the feature. Changing the restriction from limited number of airships an FC/house can have to how many each person can have if the FC/house has a workshop. Allow the members to benefit from their ships and not have to go begging for scraps from an FC leader even if you helped make ships in the first place. The airship linked to your character while in that FC itself, if leave FC your ship can cease to exist or be transferable like when have mogstation additional retainers...it still exists but cannot access it till pay again or in this case join another FC etc (either situation is okay with me).

Frankly, FC housing and player housing were supposed to be separate in the first place, but for whatever reason they decided to just roll player housing into existing FC wards, at the exact same price. It makes no sense, but it's far too late to change it now.
I really hate the fact that there is a (fairly large) feature of the game that only a very select few will ever have access to. This could be a good solution to it. Perhaps they could make it so that personal airships wouldn't provide the same benefits as full FC airships, but it would be nice for regular joe FC members just to be able to use it.
