Oh, you added stuff. Here's the problem with your analogy: they aren't the same meal on the menu. They just look the same, they cost the same, but one is only available to certain parties who qualify and comes with free drinks. If two people walk into a restaurant, one called Dave and the other John. Both order the same meal for the same price but John gets continuous free bottles of wine to drink with his meal just because he is called John while Dave does not, in my opinion Dave would have legitimate right to be insulted by that situation. It just doesn't feel right to me that both are not entitled access to the same features when pay the same amount. Maybe SE could implement a percentage deduction/reimbursement in house cost for purchase of 'personal' vs 'FC' because they don't get access to the same features as those paying same amount currently.
It's the same house at the same price minus a pretty significant feature so I remain unchanged in my opinion that there should be a reduction or discounted price for purchasing it without that feature, maybe 15-30% discount or reimbursement when purchase personal vs FC version rather than charging FC version price for version without a reasonably substantial housing feature. I have yet to be swayed against the idea of such a discount though as that would be a counter balance to me of 'okay so you do not get feature x but because of that you did not have to pay the same amount as people with feature x', I could be swayed on personal housing getting/not getting also airship crafting/ventures but in terms of pricing...my opinion remains unchanged.
