Security Token App on Android keep unregistering

Hello,

I have successfully used the security token app on other android devices, but my recent device is not behaving well. I recently purchased a Nexus 5X running Marshmallow and am using the Google Fi service.

I installed the app and registered the token no problem and was able to use it to log in to the game. Next day, when I try open the app to get a One Time password, I get the registration screen again which forced me to use the emergency removal password and re-register the app.

This happened again for the next few days. I've tried everything from clearing the data cache to uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it lasts anywhere from one day to 3 at the most. I don't know what else to try and believe there to be a bug in the app.

In case anyone from Square reads this or finds this thread through searching for this same issue, I figured it out.

There is definitely a bug in the app and it depends on time synchronization between the client and the server. I disabled network time updates on my phone and haven't had the app unregister on me in 5 days.

What I think was happening is that I regularly flip wifi networks, including a work network that has its own network time server that has a SLIGHTLY different time than the one you normally get. I realized that the times that I wasn't unregistering were weekends when I wasn't hopping on that work wifi.

Please fix the app, this is very frustrating.
