    [ FFIX/FFXIV spoilers] Boss from FFIX coming to FFXIV?

    Saw this on reddit, looks like we're going to be fighting Final Fantasy IX's super boss as a encounter in FFXIV. No wonder they kept it a secret that's pretty awesome.

    The Boss also fits the Superboss, mainly because of the Upper Part being Light and the Lower Part being Dark.

    The name of that boss was Ozma, actually.

    The teaser trailer in the live letter showed a figure of a female demon. I can't recall if that was shown in the same boss arena or not though. Might be two different bosses.

    This reminds me of when I had thought I had completed FFIX...my then young daughter found Ozma by luck so I unplugged the playstation and left her sat there crying haha (evil I know) and then proceeded to challenge the best boss ever

    I do hope its as tough as the original...there was something quite fun about spinning around hitting your party and dying a good death!
