Sigh.. how about 4K in-game resolution with 4k TV in 3D? On a PC, yes, a PC. Oh yes and a sofa and your arse on it, with a ps4/xbone/wii/steam/razer or whatever gamepad in your hand and a milkshake in your mouth if thats what you prefer. Console gamers will always feel envious and for very real reasons. Also having some sort of forced parser/meter displayed onscreen might be too much for the general console gamer/new MMO player. The confusion caused by such UI might send loads of noobs away. Or destroy the whole planet.
Oh wait, since Sony decided to stop the homebrew development (by removing the developer license) of their PS Vita console, which was the only development it ever received, there is nothing left for it to do but rot away in silence. Perhaps SE could make an official app for it named FFXIV Parser. I bet its possible with the linking PS4 and Vita has. If only they never removed the free developer license, who knows what this machine would be these days. A PS4 parser app in there for sure made by the consumers for the demand of the consumers. But sony said no to the free unlimited development of their machine.

Huh? I had this game on ps4 for 1 year and half and now I'm on pc and ps4. I bought a new sofa 1 week after I built a good pc that also has 55 inch curved 4k tv. What am I going to be jealous over excactly? XD. You do realize there are many people who plays their games on their tvs, I mean from pc's. I certainly do, ofc majority do play the games on small screen and a small chair but I don't feel like doing that hehe. I did own a sofa for my gaming room before I built the pc, but needed a new one haha.
24 screen on my table where my keyboard is at, so I can browse while have the game(s) on the mainscreen. Keep in mind, many people who are on ps4 want's a parser.

Regardless how good is your PC and sofa, you still need a Parser, right? ^^;
I'm not sure what you getting out but from my own understanding, you say it's not needed because it's ''gimmick'' to you? Or you had people tell you that you are lazy, doing low dps etc and feel offended. Maybe you thought you were good for a long time and someone told you and you felt extremely offended? Or simply because you feel the tool will make people more offensive? I don't know, you just say something and to me you feel offended by it.
I want a parser because it gives me the data I want and look for, which is data I seek to improve myself. Do I need it? Nope, but do I want to improve myself as a player? Yes. So I guess I need it, because I like to improve myself as a player and not let people down. If I'm the problem in the group, I rather leave it so they can get someone else, that's why I want to improve. Many seem to ignore there is a teamplay not solo.
However, you have to be more specific about your point.

Yes this is absolutely true! The point is PS4 users rely on PC player for it!...I want a parser because it gives me the data I want and look for, which is data I seek to improve myself. Do I need it? Nope, but do I want to improve myself as a player? Yes. So I guess I need it, because I like to improve myself as a player and not let people down..
Parser is mandatory now, so I come here to support in-game parser!
Edit: sorry I think my writing skill not good so confusing some ppl ^^;

I think SE needs to resolved this, but not Sony.
I am the one who want parser on PS4, otherwise I need to play on PC, but my PC has no big TV and sofa and like working on a small office desk! ^^;
No you don't. I play on a 55 inch with my pc, why not move your pc close to the tv then? How is even that part of the topic anwyays. Okay I get you now, you want a parser for your ps4. That is something SE has to handle yes, not sony.
Edit. Okay! Now I get your point, thanks for clerifying it! Yes I do agree with you. No worries ^^

Regardless how to setup, parser on pc is officially disallowed ^^;
Therefore I want to let YoshiP and DEV knows, even myeslf from the casual PLAYER BASE, and my noobs friends, all of us think parser is mandatory.
Sony removed the software developer license from their website which allowed people to develop the PS Vita forward with homebrewn/3rd party software. It was a downloadable patch/file that you put on your Vita for developer access, it is no more downloadable nor usable even if you had the patch/files. Back then you could for example stream PC games to your Vita just like from the PS4 but with better success/framerate/quality. Sony wants us to buy PS4 if we buy PS Vita so that's how simple it really is, they blocked us from doing what we did with their console. SE needs to get (buy) permission from Sony to develop an official app like a parser and also work together with Sony to make it happen. But we have all seen that companies are not capable of what individuals are, especially when given free hands.
PS Vita is a machine that can do an incredible amount of things due to its hardware, but Sony and its business model (software licensing etc) is in the way of development. Greed.
Turning the Vita into PS4's multitasking synced buddy is the only way to go and they are failing it miserably.
@Nicobo: Parsers are allowed in every possible way, except for the Feast PvP network parsing/tracking debuffs/buffs etc. That can get you removed from the season, or so they say, but you cannot be caught. Atleast not proven. Oh the glory of the "grey area".
