No, I would not. If it was added, I would turn it off. If it was party wide, I would permanently disable party chat.

That's frankly quite a sad stance to take IMHO. I could make many comparisons to what you're saying, but it'd probably land me in trouble with the moderators here :/

You remind me of this guy. You gonna think it's fine to ignore the rest when they ask you to either know the mechanics or do enough dps. While everyone wants to either down or farm, 1 person which is also needed to do the mechanics correct, otherwise a wipe.
I don't do farm parties so no, I don't need to see your inane ramblings. I make sure to atleast get a grasp on mechanics before I enter fights and stay up to date on gear, I don't need a number to know if I screwed up or not. Stop the hand holding. I have no need for your e-peen contests.
You would be suprised how many players who keep their gear up to date and don't mess up a single mechanic are unable to pull their own weight DPS-wise. Last time I did OS4 with a pickup DD their DPS was so low if everyone else had played at their level we would have never been able to beat the fight even with 0 mistakes and deaths. And the person had i340 melded gear and did 0 mistakes. They might very well have thought they "didn't need a number" but they most certainly could have used one, because right now they were being carried hard. The worst thing is, they probably did know this, because they had seen and hidden their own parse rankings...
But you do intend to clear content right? So even if you have gear, doesn't mean you are capable to hit reach the dps your class is capable of or even close to it. I can't count how many players have 340 ilvl and can't do more dps than I did at 320. It's not about e-peen, it's about doing the shit you are supposed to do. Imagine everyone had your attitude in EVERY group you are in, good luck clearing then. First you admit you are willing to ignore others now you open admit again it's fine to ignore people again.I don't do farm parties so no, I don't need to see your inane ramblings. I don't get the impression people are asking for parsers in casual and semicasual content like Dungeons or 24mans where the benefits would be low or a parser itself wouldn't be more like e-peen stroking.I don't do farm parties so no, I don't need to see your inane ramblings. But you can't neglect the benefits in progression of Extreme Trials, Savage and Ultimate and not only in progression, also in kill parties and farms.
If you don't want to participate in the higher content don't try to demonize a proper tool for people who do by highlighting possible drawbacks and negative sideeffects and mix it up with your own fears while ignoring all possible positive sideeffects and the intended use.

Also, if you don't want to participate in the higher content, this discussion doesn't concern you in the first place, since people are only asking it for Savage, Extremes and Ultimate... So why object it when you will never have to deal with it, and it can actually help people who do wish to do that content? (If I have missed posts where people are asking it for leveling or casual content without enrages, feel free to point them out to me though.)If you don't want to participate in the higher content don't try to demonize a proper tool for people who do by highlighting possible drawbacks and negative sideeffects and mix it up with your own fears while ignoring all possible positive sideeffects and the intended use.

It needs to be in all content. You don't learn to dps in end game. You learn to dps then go to end game and learn the fights. Why deny console players what pc players already got?
In general people should figure out a decent rotation while leveling and practice on a dummy to learn it.
But in leveling is just a low gain out of a parser because of missing skills.
Also in casual content it really isn't needed. I'm running dungeons to get into the jobs flows in duties so i wouldn't want to be judged by my performance in a job i haven't mastered yet or i play to relax, that's what casual content is for.
In SSS and higher endgame content It is a complete other thing, cause it is a kind of competition.
