Sorry to hurt your feeling but, i have cleared Alex. I made a mistake and should have put EXAMPLE.Sorry to hurt your feeling. But before starting a raid you have to make your homework. Learning how to play your class, especially as a DPS, is something that has do be done before you want to do content where damage matters that much. Within the content you have enough to do by learning mechanics and how to adapt you rotation along the machanics. This is not the place to learn how to deal damage at all. Nobody can say that you will ever reach the goal. with that opinion you would do only one thing: waste the time of the 7 others, that are not able to make real progress because of you.
Now your whole comment is dumb and does not apply to me. thank you.
Sorry to hurt your feelings.
Should we take it one more step?
That's the whole point. I play on PS4 and I can't see any DPS numbers. Now, if I want to improve my rotation why the hell do I have to ask a PC player to come stare at me and feed me numbers while I hit a training dummy? Can I find one who will do it for me? Yes but I feel like a colossal asshole for wasting their time doing something that I should be able to do for myself. Before it even gets stated, yes I know that I could break out my calculator and determine my own DPS but I also have limited playtime due to having a wife, child, and job so spending my evenings number crunching a log sounds boring as hell. Especially when it's very very feasible to have the game do it for me.

I play on PS4 too. Go to your setting and turn it on. Mines on. it's even showing in my chat. Whats the issue? You just don't know how to use settings?Should we take it one more step?
Never said I cleared Savage in CoB or Alex. So yeah, you look real dumb by ASSUMING.

I don't even... on the very off chance you're not a troll, then this is the dumbest thing I've read in a while. DPS stands for "Damage per Second" which is an equation of how much damage you're averaging every second. What your god-like ability to maneuver into simple settings menus has managed to turn on is.... just damage. Yes, you can see your damage from each attack but how much damage do you average per second from your kick-ass settings knowledge? As a spoiler: one of these metrics is infinitely more useful than the other.
Also since their original quote was clearly talking about Savage and upper-tier raiding by talking about "fights where maintaining high DPS actually matters", your statement that you cleared Alex was presumed to be talking about Alexander Savage. Otherwise the conversation boils down to "in high tier content you need to know your job to put out acceptable damage to clear the fight" > "Oh yeah?! Well I cleared Normal mode Alexander so your argument is invalidated and now dumb".

OH MY GOD. you can't do simple math? Really?!?!?!?!?!?!I don't even... on the very off chance you're not a troll, then this is the dumbest thing I've read in a while. Remember when I took that argument out of the equation in my original response? I don't want to waste my time crunching the damage log into a calculator when it is incredibly simple for the game to do it for me, it has to calculate the damage anyway it's just a matter of presenting the information to me. Reading comprehension doesn't seem to be your strong suit. Failing at wit, now that's something you seem to be more than capable of.
