At first I was satisfied with a personal parser, but now I would really like a group parser.
My dungeon runs of yesterday made me want to have it even more.
Me and 2 friends did 60 roulette and got a new player.
It was her first time in the dungeon, so we pulled slowly and after the first few trash mobs I asked her if she would like advice on the dungeon, and if she would like advice on dragoon game-play (I'm not an expert in DPS so I was not going to explain her a whole rotation, but basic stuff that every dragoon should do)
Since she didn't answer, I told her to at least keep Heavy Thrust up, because it ups your damage. And to use the Pugilist and Maurauder Cross-Class skills instead of gatherers ones.
Her reaction was: Do you have an issue with me? Just heal and let's continue.
I explained her that I don't have an issue, but wanted to help her play better. To which she says that I shouldn't be so serious and that it's just a game. Ok this is true, but you don't play alone, you play with other people, so show respect. I also told her than that I didn't want to carry her if she didn't try at least.
We continue, she's still not using buffs (She only you the Full Thrust Combo), she asks for tips of the dungeon. I told her to use Heavy Thrust before we talk dungeon, since she's already dead weight. Her reply is that I don't know anything about dragoon and how it plays (I have it level 60, and it was my previous main before I went Scholar) and she will not take advice from a Mentor (I'm a mentor, so I know my reaction was maybe harsh and a mentor should not be harsh, but she really got on my nerfs) and that she would only believe she performed poorly if she saw it.
We kicked her from the group cuz she refused to even try. In this situation, a parser would have shown her that by using Heavy Thrust and buffs (and if possible DoT and Chaos Thrust Combo) her damage would go up.
