Sony removed the software developer license from their website which allowed people to develop the PS Vita forward with homebrewn/3rd party software. It was a downloadable patch/file that you put on your Vita for developer access, it is no more downloadable nor usable even if you had the patch/files. Back then you could for example stream PC games to your Vita just like from the PS4 but with better success/framerate/quality. Sony wants us to buy PS4 if we buy PS Vita so that's how simple it really is, they blocked us from doing what we did with their console. SE needs to get (buy) permission from Sony to develop an official app like a parser and also work together with Sony to make it happen. But we have all seen that companies are not capable of what individuals are, especially when given free hands.

PS Vita is a machine that can do an incredible amount of things due to its hardware, but Sony and its business model (software licensing etc) is in the way of development. Greed.
Turning the Vita into PS4's multitasking synced buddy is the only way to go and they are failing it miserably.

@Nicobo: Parsers are allowed in every possible way, except for the Feast PvP network parsing/tracking debuffs/buffs etc. That can get you removed from the season, or so they say, but you cannot be caught. Atleast not proven. Oh the glory of the "grey area".
