I never say I boot them personally, but I've been witness to a little over 1250 healers being booted since the beginning of Heavensward for not contributing DPS, and have only seen 2 or 3 that weren't booted for it. If I were to include the healers from ARR I'd see routinely booted, that number would climb significantly higher.
But I tank daily roulettes, weekly alex..etc since the beginning of Heavensward and I have never seen 1 healer being booted for not DPSing. ^^;
I'm not sure I believe that. I've literally never seen someone booted for not DPSing as a healer in dungeons or anything and I've been playing for almost 3 years now. I know it's possible, but the chances are too low. (I have seen it mentioned to the healer 2 times, but never booted)I never say I boot them personally, but I've been witness to a little over 1250 healers being booted since the beginning of Heavensward for not contributing DPS, and have only seen 2 or 3 that weren't booted for it. I DF a lot since I started playing (to the point where most of my leveling, even on DPS, is through instancing), and the only times I have seen healers getting booted was for AFKing or not healing. I've seen people telling healers that once they get more comfortable, they can DPS here and there, but never seen a boot from lack of DPS.
We are on the same data center and I have literally never seen this happen in the two years I have been playing the game. I have seen people booted for other reasons, but never because they don't DPS.
(I've even been that healer that doesn't DPS (shame on me) and I have never been kicked for it, or even ever called out on it)

Since peope wonder. I don't have the log anymore or anything like that, but I'm pretty sure those tanks did more than those dps's. Now, I don't care because the dps had fun and we shouldn't kick them for underperforming so much that it enrages that fast. That's what I've learned from this thread.
On a serious note, rarely see healers get kicked not doing DPS. Many healers i've met just say they arent comfy with it and I just find it perfect as long I get my heals and thats totally fine by me. Doing faster runs I wouldn't mind, but I'm not going to kick some poor healer just because I want to do my runs faster. I respect their choice. I'm sure many agrees on me there.
Yeah, no. Gonna call bull on this. Considering booting a healer 90% of the time leads to a vote abandon or a run taking longer waiting for a new healer than simply clearing the dungeon with a healer that doesn't DPS.I never say I boot them personally, but I've been witness to a little over 1250 healers being booted since the beginning of Heavensward for not contributing DPS, and have only seen 2 or 3 that weren't booted for it. Excalibur is also on your data center and I have never seen a healer booted for not DPSing. I've also been playing since the day 2.0 started on Excalibur and I never changed servers. I do DF content very often almost on a daily basis too. I have every battle job at 60 which took a lot of DF content to achieve.
So that's three people now who are on your data center and haven't seen this behavior at all. Kezy_Kaatapoh is from Leviathan, and Lambdafish is from Hyperion which are also both on your data center. I know not everyone's experiences are the same but those numbers make it hard to believe you are not making stuff up when three other people haven't even seen it happen once. Your story just seems very unlikely if not impossible. Like why waste your time posting made up situations and numbers anyway?
EDIT: Four people now as Moomba33 posted also further down. They are on Ultros which is also in your data center as well.
