I'm sure I'm going to get someone mad, but the truth is if you have such a big problem with parsers I'm almost 100% positive your damage output is below average and your afraid you can't lazily go through content with out putting in effort and letting others pick up your slack. I think you are correct that people who do not want parsers are probably the ones who dont do alot of damage, but I do disagree with your suggestion that the reason why they do low dps is, because they are lazy and dont want to put in any effort. If we all think that players who are anti-parsers are against it, because they want to keep their lazy playstyle and be carried, can you realy blame them for not wanting any parsers in the game?

Do I think there are anti-parsers who are lazy? Afcourse I do. But there are also players who want to improve their playstyle or players who do not understand how to improve. Can you imagine what would happen if someone saw their dps via a parsers and called them lazy, even if they are trying their best?

I doubt we would have any anti-parsers if players were using the number to help them improve and not judge or assume stuff.

Now, I'm not gonna lie, his post has somewhat a truth to it, like when I was in a ravana group for bird farm a mnk did 600. How can you seriously do 600 dps at ilvl 215 ? I can hit bootshine for 2-3 min and still do the same or more. This doesn't apply to all anti parsers however. But when you gonna be that low and leech of people, nah that's lazy.
If people gonna say its a mistake in their rotation, no it's not that's not a mistake or few hits that's wrong here and there, it's pretty much the whole thing the player is doing, being lazy.

The cameras are there to see if someone is breaking in and abusing my stuff. >:[ Making me vacuum up their dirt and burn their socks. Lol jk. That's not really comparable. Your DPS isn't some personal thing that requires privacy, it's your performance and effects the whole group. It's more akin to your boss keeping track of the work you've done and checking how well you're doing your job. While some people may not like that, it's perfectly fair.

If the reason people are anti-parser is because of some idea that DPS is a personal and private thing, then I really don't know what to tell you. It's not :P

50k Gil for every trash pull I end with 1k DPS plus, 400k for every trash pull with me doing 5k plus. Oh, and bosses are pricier, 250k per boss, 75k bonus for every multiple of 500 DPS I reach. And if you want a fully optimized opener, that'll be extra. If you want to start pretending your my boss, we'll have to discuss payment.

I'm more amazed how people takes metaphore somewhat the wrong way and need to add up some random setence into it. More amazed than those who do 500 dps in normal alex not being afk.

Want me to add something to what you said? Let's say hes our boss and we do dungeons. We are both salesmen, but I out perform you, who you think gonna get paid at all or most? Mostlikely me. Hard to work pays off no? Just something random I guess.

That person never said your boss is parsing you. If you want me go give you an example I said earlier in the thread:

I know this isn't game related but I will tell u regardles.
I work at one of the biggest companies in Norway and I'm a leader among with 4-5 others at that department we work at. Now, we recently had 2 guys appying and we tested them both. However one of them was doing shitbad, like propper bad. His excuse was because it's not needed to perform 100%, as bad that sounds we told him he has to search for another job, because when you work you are there to do it 100% not half ass.


To reply to your respons, if he was never bad I wouldn't call it out, but he was so it was needed. If people wasn't bad they would never got called out, so that's their own fault, not the c*unts you mention.

Another example this ninja ilvl 210 did 700 dps in bismarck and we never killed it, I told him he can be a lot better, at first he was a bit off, since he didn't know it was that bad. 1 week later after talking to my ninja friend, whos really good his dps incrased up to 950-1.2k dps. ON a dummy it incrased by 500 almost, insane isn't it? Now he never has ANYONE ''badmouthing'' him, because they have no reason to. Just because some one said you are bad, don't ignore the fact you are, start improve, if you don't you keep getting those harsh things coming your way. If you want it to stop, improve, don't ignore it and feel bad for yoruself or make a whole group and then say how bad life is because some one was mean to you for 10 seconds saying you didn't pull of your weight.
