TBH I think you took it the wrong way. It can be done serious, but is it optimized? Put a full group in any content they never done, let them practice for weeks. They all think they are doing insane or somewhat great dps, put a guy in there and he parsers and hes telling you all you are doing 300-400 less. It would come as a shock, like how you can skip prey in midas 1 savage when you pull the boss. Many still can't do it evem with the overgear they have.

About the mitigation, it's a bit too much to say we wouldn't need tanks. Tanks is needed no matter what, what he means is when something dies faster it helps on survival, MP and less mechanic to deal with.

Look, I have a friend who clears m1 savage in 4:20. My group does it at 5:50-6 min. He skips a few things we would love to skip, in fact many people would love to skip. Another example people wait for echo to just burst down a boss to skip mechanics. If people did coil in duty finder, it was already nerfed, meaning it was added with echo. Coil wasn't the current tier if you beat it duty finder.

I could go on but I rather not. Now we both know you and I have somewhat sense in how we talk and how we are on these forums, because even if we disagree with each other doesn't mean I dislike you, because you seem like a okay dude I would hang out with. But I think you missunderstood his whole post. About 217 gear and midas 1. I beat it on MNK, not on DRG. On MNK I even had the 205 chest XD.
I was about 217-218 ish. If you don't mind, list up the gear you use and I can try and see if I can pull it off. Then perhahps I could help you out if you want .

But but.. This is also what many in this thread and forum have also proved, how immature people can be.. Accepting people being carried, don't tell them how to play because casting blizzard 1 is fine, doing no positional combos, no dots etc up. I can quote everyone who accept this. That's insanely toxic. How you just talked was just crazy toxic as well, so you can't excactly say you are any better. You went too far this time.

I should expand upon this I think as the initial answer was lack luster. The thread reads would I want a parser in game? Yes I would like a personal one to see where I am sitting as numbers are the thing that makes the most sense to me. That being said I know many people are looking for a non personal one to be able to gauge other people. I am really fine with this as well, its just not something I would personally use as I am not a top player and I don't feel like I could judge anyone else's dps or be in a place to offer them any advice. However, if someone wanted to use it on me and saw I was doing subpar then great! But the numbers are just the first inclination that I am doing something wrong. I want people to be able to look at my rotation and be able to say "Hey you're not using such and such correctly have you ever though of doing xyz" something along those lines. I mean I could have bomb gear and not know what in the world I am doing.I think any way the cards are dealt there are going to be sassy peoplewho will judge you and offer no help whatsoever and also people that you will try to help who will refuse it because of whatever reason. That happens now, it will happen forever. But if this could be implemented in a way that the community could actually utilize it to build better players then awesome!

Could it be tied to mentor status or something along those lines? I mean aren't mentors supposed to be able to know different classes and be able to mentor people and help them(in theory of course)? Maybe have a check box where you could turn off the ability for other people to view yours? Maybe in the beginning you have the ability to use it on yourself and not others but after a certain criteria is met you can use it on others? You can report people for abusing it?
