Would you like an in-game parser?

So much discussion in this thread! It's almost like there is a huge majority in opposition to parsers!

But wait, the vote at the beginning!... It shows a overwhelming majority would like to have a parser in some form. 5/6 of votes are for a parser in some form and 1/6 against any parser (as of time writing). I must comment that there is not a vote for "don't care either way" however.

What does this all mean? It is most curious! Does it mean instead there is a very vocal minority against parsers? I would like to know the answer! Why are they so vocal? What is it about parsers that makes that minority discuss it so much?

I know I don't get any say either way as far as if there is a parser in this game. But I find these threads so curious. I never really thought any change in this game was so earth shattering that I'd have to be concerned so much. What makes this minority so worried to have to discuss it so much? Maybe if the game was going to go free to play, then I'd be a bit concerned. I saw that happen to Rift and it made me sad. Anything else that can happen is just whatever to me.
