I have replied to that I believe. Or atleast to that person. But saying every content has been beaten without parser is a bit... weird to say no? Many groups beat it with parsers. Usually those who don't have one probably in the group or simply those who are way behind on content. Overgear, 1-2 patches later or simply have people have overgear and ''carry'' them.


The top groups or even midicore groups beat things for a reason, because they play well, they adjust and love to get better. When you play something isn't it a part of being better or you just want to sit on your ass expecting things to come to you without trying? Todays problem with society is everyone want's things for free and you have to socialy accept if some people wont adjust themselves in terms of attitude AND getting better in things they are doing. So you have to becareful telling people the truth or it hurts. Sad? But it's true. If I farm content, I expect everyone to do well. One person being 500-600 behind on dps and getting ''free'' kills isn't something I put on my wish list. There is a difference beating things within idk few weeks doing contents? Or primals within a few days,while people who are stupidly overgeared and still can't do it. I've seen enrages on seph and many are over 230 with 230 weapons. It's a bit silly. Much as I love to help people improve it's hard to help when they are all in denial.

Seeing if you have the gear and rotation to down a dummy in a set amount of time with no mechanics?
Yeah thats a good use to see if you have the baseline to ENTER content.

Seeing if you can apply your rotation and knowledge of mechanics in a cohesive manner so that you can clear said content without hitting your personal or others dps too much?
This is where you MIGHT want a parser to help you, or friends out.

Many don't get that. If you do for example 1750 on a seph dummy for example, and if you drop down to 1k in the actual fight, then it's no exuse than getting better. Problem is many REFUSES to see the big picture. It's funny how true this one person said in this thread. Many anti parsers want's to help but how excactly will a person play better? Yeah they can improve but having a tool for that, what parser is doing would help them a lot more as a player!
