If they were part of my static or a friend, I would coach them through what they could and couldn't do and see what we can gleam from their play.

If they were a random PuG and I'm in a farm party, I'd tell them they aren't meeting the requirements of the fight and wish them well and move on. I would have more tolerance if it was a progression party but if the person in question continues to prove to be a detriment to the party, I'd remove them as well. I'm not here to babysit everyone that comes through my parties and I expect a certain level of competence and ability to learn from the players I play with. If you can't achieve that, then I'm sorry for your luck.

My thoughts behind it all? I can do these things without being rude about it. Once you're rude, that's harassment. If the person I'm removing is rude in response, they get blacklisted and I move on. That's all.

If someone is under performing and cannot contribute to a group in a meaningful way, then yes they will either need to improve or try again with a different group another time. This metric of "meaningful" just happens to be significantly higher for raids then it is for casual play like EXDR.

So, how about you? Would you know what to do if someone was like that in your party?
