The dead horse has been flogged so much on this topic I'm sure we've had to find another dead horse to replace the original one.

Nah, the culmination of dead horses has to be turned into glue, no traces of the corpses shall remain! It's like one of the hallmark threads; you have glamour threads, screenshots threads, show off your character threads, and this fills the quota of DPS argument threads.

Joking aside, I find it kind of sad that when people ask me what is a prominent characteristic of the FFXIV general forums would be, DPS meter debates come to mind they happen so often.
