nope definately not
nope definately not
I think a standard personal parser with full pre-made groups having the option to opt-in to a public one would be a fair compromise.
NO, damage meters just breed elitism and makes some players focus on numbers.
Everything that is important information wise is available in the user interface at the moment. Raids should be more about teamwork and accomplishing a goal together than who's the biggest DPSER or who's the best player....
In a game with dps checks and an enrage. numbers are important and a focus. Face it man everyone doesnt win a trophyNO, damage meters just breed elitism and makes some players focus on numbers.

what is a parser?
Simply, a Parser is an application that measures the amount of damage a player does over a specified period of time, which gives you your 'Damage per second.' That's the most base people use for it.
There are other applications of the most popular one - ACT - such as Healing per second, tracking how people used their cooldowns, seeing what kind of damage people died to (Great for seeing if there was lack of a Mitigative CD from a tank or if it was a shot-hit etc.)
Basically, it's a tool that measures and presents information in a cleaner and easier-to-digest manner than the Combat Log.
Thank you I was kind of thinking a might be a DPS/HPS counter by some of the comments I read. I appreciate the info.Simply, a Parser is an application that measures the amount of damage a player does over a specified period of time, which gives you your 'Damage per second.' No, i don't need some idiot telling me my DPS isn't optimal when i'm just trying to have fun.
If you don't do enough DPS in savage or extreme primals. Don't bother. If you are in dungeons, I wouldn't care. If you are clicking same 1-3 button's and ignore everything else. Leave people alone, and calling people idiot's because some might want to help you, isn't excactly some rich words coming out of your mouth. If you are however decent and dont drop down 60% of your dps like dungeon people do (1-3 click skills), then who cares? I highly doubt you find mind who does too. Only thing I could think of people mention it, is you being lazy and not doing your part of the job/class.
Edit: It's so funny how you talk about people having fun:
This just happeened few min ago:
Want my opinion on your post? It's fine if everyone in the group has fun. Not 1 guy only. I guess your term of fun is having 66% enrage on normal mode alex.
So next time, be wise about your words, instead of calling people idiots.
