That's not really comparable. Your DPS isn't some personal thing that requires privacy, it's your performance and effects the whole group. It's more akin to your boss keeping track of the work you've done and checking how well you're doing your job. While some people may not like that, it's perfectly fair.

If the reason people are anti-parser is because of some idea that DPS is a personal and private thing, then I really don't know what to tell you. It's not :P
