I see, I guess I misunderstood and assumed you were classifying anyone who cares about a parser to be a 'metermaid'. I feel that your argument would go a lot further if you used more respectful language though.

I suppose I can understand where you are coming from. I'm older, a bit jaded, and a bit cynical from gaming over multiple decades, so I have some "baggage", as it were, which colors my view of things in games and thus affects my response to certain topics. I do apologize if my choice of words did not sit well with you.
