Would you like an in-game parser?

I've seen a blm new to a12n get kicked for doing 1500 instead of 1800, been harassed because I missed one or two KassAtsu's in a10n while keeping TA on CD and managing my buffs and dots appropriately, and saw a bard being kicked for using mage Ballad to help the low MP healers during a nondps check phase in a11n. It happens. You may not see it, but it happens.

I know from other games that if you see others' people's numbers you become judged by it and there is nothing friendly about raiding in those games.

Yes, I would like an in-game parser. I want to better myself as a player for the various types of content that I do, and a parser would be among one of the many things to help with that. Unfortunately, we'll never have this because this community is full of sensitive babies.

This is bound to become the norm if they open pandora's box. That would mean that past the initial shock there would be nothing wrong with it and no alternative.

How often have you actually seen this happen? I've only seen bots TP into towns in my.... 2 years or so playing. Also proof to the percentage of players using automated rotations please. Sounds more like an exaggeration as the most people tend to do is macro which... is a disadvantage.

Honestly a in game parser is a very VERY bad idea. This game is already disadvantaged to the extreme against ps4 users its pathetic.

And you realize this would close the gap right? PC users can easily toss a parser on but PS4 can't... I'm seeing a 2+2=5 in that statement.

If your raiding there is almost always someone parsing the fight anyways so having an 100% accurate one for raiding would be nice, I wouldn't mind if they locked it out of all other content where its not needed unless its a fully premade party where everyone is fine with it.

I did a Nidhogg trial run this afternoon and saw 3 dragoons in sync perform the same rotation exactly like the sync dances. All 3 procced dragon of the blood at the same time and all cooldowns. Jumps were also in sync. Anyone with half a brain knows that bots are so rampant 30-40% of pc users use rotation bots as its not really enforced in this game. You think adding parsers is a good idea when half the pc universe is to lazy to play the game themselves and let a freaking rotation perfect bot epeen themselves. If you want a parser then let Ps4 get a automated rotation assistance addon or some sort or do something about these bot abusing players.

And we faked the moon landing too, right? You can't be serious if you believe that.

I think that a parser would be good for the community. Not having one is not good for the community. I don't lose sleep over it, however.

I think a group parser could help people, while leveling and learning their class, test and see how doing certain changes to their rotation would improve their DPS.

How is a group parser going to help someone leveling? That's the most dumb thing i've ever read so far in this thread.

People don't learn their class looking at numbers, people learn their class by reading the skill tooltips, and from there use their logic, that's how i've learned and most people learned.

What basically you're saying is that everyone was bad before parsers were made available, please.

Not to mention there's plenty of guides, being them video or written, no Parser is going to make someone better than reading/watching a guide (exception for people who already know their Job for the most part and want to test openers).

They could then continue to use a parser during grouped content at max level to see how they are comparing to others

Yes this is why people want a group parser, so they can shit on bad players and get away with it for the sake of epeen, when they're not that good themselves.

What would happen if someone was doing bad DPS:

- Get shit on
- Get kicked

But wait, there's a group parser, so why aren't they good already? Wasn't it meant to help bad players become better to begin with?

The only time i felt the need to read a guide for Ninja was during 3.2 when i couldn't beat the A8S dummy, was failing at 3%, which is what full party buff is and would be met while inside A8S, but i still wanted to get it down since it's possible, so i went to read guides and found out that the Opener was somewhat wrong.

Then i proceed to test the new opener, still wasn't enough, so i proceed to reddit and people told me my crit was too low, end of story.

I didn't use a parser to learn my Job, i'm not special, why would other people need a parser to learn their Job?
