That Bard should get shit on lol. Foe requiem does not drop DPS like the other songs do...If it was a personal Parser. IE showed your DPS /Hate Gain/ Healing per 15 second period.
This would let people tweak how they are playing to be better.
However most parsers fail on something like oo the BLM is hitting 1200 and the brd is only hitting 900. But the brd has foe up. So he gets shit on. The Masses don't see the big picture. Only that BRD DPS sucks.
Also I would want it premade full parties only.
Have you actually seen anyone say something like that?If it was a personal Parser. IE showed your DPS /Hate Gain/ Healing per 15 second period.

If the BRD is going to 'get shit on', I could see that only happening if it was like BRD dps 900, BLM dps, 2500. Even then, I don't think the tendency for most people is to rage or shit on them.
I've seen a blm new to a12n get kicked for doing 1500 instead of 1800, been harassed because I missed one or two KassAtsu's in a10n while keeping TA on CD and managing my buffs and dots appropriately, and saw a bard being kicked for using mage Ballad to help the low MP healers during a nondps check phase in a11n. It happens. You may not see it, but it happens.
Gonna go ahead and call BS, you're just making stuff up. A 1500 dps blm in a12n would still be top 20% for that content, no-one I've ever met is going to kick a top 20% player in story content....I've seen a blm new to a12n get kicked for doing 1500 instead of 1800, been harassed because I missed one or two KassAtsu's in a10n while keeping TA on CD and managing my buffs and dots appropriately, and saw a bard being kicked for using mage Ballad to help the low MP healers during a nondps check phase in a11n. You don't compare BRD with BLM. You compare BRD with other BRDs that you saw in other groups that had similar composition.
Call it what you want. I've seen it happen. Honestly, I don't expect anyone trying to sell a parser as the miracle cure Ffxiv needs to listen to anyone being a lot more realistic about it.
That's incorrect. Mage Ballad reduces dps numbers while it's active, and missing one or two Kassatsu is still a (small) dps loss. It very much has to do with dps numbers.

OK, but two of your three examples are not DPS # related, which drives the point home that a parser isn't the cause of people behaving this way. People will kick and be ridiculous with or without a parser.I've seen a blm new to a12n get kicked for doing 1500 instead of 1800, been harassed because I missed one or two KassAtsu's in a10n while keeping TA on CD and managing my buffs and dots appropriately, and saw a bard being kicked for using mage Ballad to help the low MP healers during a nondps check phase in a11n. Doesnt it depend on ilvl an ilvl 230 pulling 1500dps is a lot more impressive then an ilvl 255 pulling only 1500
I know i did close to 1400 at just onder ilvl 230 on my bard, may be good may be not. Dont know what i could do now when i'm 250.
^ Depends on the fights. In some DPS is lower due to the boss disappearing. 1500 at i255 may be "meh" on a 3min dummy to see what you cap at... but in a fight where you have to move etc. it isn't low.
People are always going to be jerks, period. If they don't have raw numbers they will find another reason. In content where a parser works really well, people know class strengths.I've seen a blm new to a12n get kicked for doing 1500 instead of 1800, been harassed because I missed one or two KassAtsu's in a10n while keeping TA on CD and managing my buffs and dots appropriately, and saw a bard being kicked for using mage Ballad to help the low MP healers during a nondps check phase in a11n. It happens. You may not see it, but it happens.
Also, WHY do people against it keep going to an all or nothing!? "Well, people will see my numbers..." Not if it is a personal one. It seems like people clinging to the all or nothing just to make a nuclear armageddon scenario... even tho kicks for low DPS are an extremely small minority as it is. There is a possible compromise (which has been mentioned soooo many times), stop going to absolute doomsday scenarios that are already incredibly rare.
Edit: I too also call bull. 1800 in that fight is on the high end, A10N isn't a DPS check and I've yet to see bards get yelled at for playing songs.... they usually get yelled at TO play them. Even if it is true, these are just people being jerks which is always going to happen. Best thing you can do is correct them or be an adult and ignore them. Unless they offer genuine feedback to help, they're not worth acknowledging or getting upset over.

Honestly a in game parser is a very VERY bad idea. This game is already disadvantaged to the extreme against ps4 users its pathetic. I did a Nidhogg trial run this afternoon and saw 3 dragoons in sync perform the same rotation exactly like the sync dances. All 3 procced dragon of the blood at the same time and all cooldowns. Jumps were also in sync. Anyone with half a brain knows that bots are so rampant 30-40% of pc users use rotation bots as its not really enforced in this game. You think adding parsers is a good idea when half the pc universe is to lazy to play the game themselves and let a freaking rotation perfect bot epeen themselves. If you want a parser then let Ps4 get a automated rotation assistance addon or some sort or do something about these bot abusing players.
