Woot! I love this new calculation, hereafter known as ADDATHH (abbreviation looks awesome btw! "Average Damage Done According to Three Highest Hits")

My current ADDATHH is 5771! Monk on top of the world!!!

Damn son, I hope I can break a 5700 ADDATHH on my MNK soon. We need to figure out AoEs, though... do you add them all together as one attack or is each mob a separate attack? Cause BLM and SMN might need to be nerfed for having their ADDATHH too high if it's all considered one attack.

The good news is that we no longer need a parser as everyone can calculate their ADDATHH with the minimal investment of a calculator and 30 seconds of their time. The bad news is that we now have to have a range of acceptable ADDATHHs since we can't have useful standardized information like DPS... I hope you prayed to the RNG gods because the new Nidhogg EX Farms will be a 6000 to 8000 ADDATHH requirement!

I was thinking about that but personally, I think ADDATHH needs to be sectioned as to not cause ADDATHH discrepancy. So a calculation for front-line ADDATHH, ranged ADDATHH, magic ADDATHH, healer ADDATHH, and finally tank ADDATHH, this should stop harassment and keep jobs relevant!

Silliness aside, pro-parsing all the way, I've seen it help more people than actually humiliate and shame them, that's just my perspective but I am almost sure game and Shane parsing isn't an epidemic in any server

I've probably said it before...
I don't particularly feel the need to parse myself, too lazy to get it set up, but I do try my best when playing.

But I support there being parsers available.
It's just a tool, people who misuse the tool should be held accountable for their own actions.

After all this time, I still want at least a personal parser. A possibility to toggle on a group parser would be a nice option tho.

No. This was one of the reasons I quit playing WoW. It was no longer a fun game over there, people decided to turn the game into World of Accounting, which ruined it for me. Admittedly a personal one would be nice, just to be able to see how we're all performing and how it all fits together, but it'd be all too easy for someone to post the numbers in chat anyway. Squeenix would have to make this practice a reportable offense (harassment), which would just mean more work on their part. Best to just not even allow it to begin with.
