Yeah, i stay as far way from anything "Savage" i'd rather have fun with my FCmates, RP, and unlock more crafting opportunities than waste hours killing overpower internet goblins grinding for getting gear that'll be completely worthless a patch or two later. If you don't do enough DPS in savage or extreme primals. Don't bother. If you are in dungeons, I wouldn't care. If you are clicking same 1-3 button's and ignore everything else. Leave people alone, and calling people idiot's because some might want to help you, isn't excactly some rich words coming out of your mouth. If you are however decent and dont drop down 60% of your dps like dungeon people do (1-3 click skills), then who cares? I highly doubt you find mind who does too. Only thing I could think of people mention it, is you being lazy and not doing your part of the job/class.
I just wanna do a dungeon without some fool telling me i'm not playing to their standards.

How would you feel about a parser that could only be used in raids and extreme primals (potentially in practice mode)? If that is the minimum that we got, I would be ok with that, and think of some other method of improving player DPS for other content such as the ravana and midas that was screenshotted. Nobody asked for a parser for your dungeon runs, I am in agreement that it would only help speedrunners, and the content is so simple that it can be beaten with terrible DPS.Yeah, i stay as far way from anything "Savage" i'd rather have fun with my FCmates, RP, and unlock more crafting opportunities than waste hours killing overpower internet goblins grinding for getting gear that'll be completely worthless a patch or two later.

Yes then if someone is a jackass to you, then report them, seriously do it. I hate people who would talk trash like that too, I also even told people not to. Only difference between 1-2click dps, decent dps and top dps is:
super slow run
not so slow
super fast runs
I'm all okay for those dungeon runs, because keep in mind some people are new as well on the super slow runs as well. But when I KNOW people dont click their buttons often, thats an issue. But you don't and I trust you on that. So if people talk bad, then report them.

Is your DPS "not optimal" or is it "bad?" because if you are doing casual content or even primals and you are clearing them then nobody is even going to bat an eyelid that you could do 100 more DPS, nobody cares so long as the thing dies/the problem isn't damage. People start caring when things aren't dying, DPS checks aren't being met because one guy is doing ~500 dps less than the minimum he should be, and that's the only reason that the fight isn't being progressed.
I don't deny that assholes exist, but if that's your worry, then you are well within your right to call them out on it, they're the idiot who can't read a situation, and they aren't the majority by a large margin. Really, you are denying people a useful tool, over the fear of that.

To be fair he did just say "no" as in he doesn't want one, not "no, eff you all who want one."
Was he in that group with you when that happened?
Seriously I get this is a passionate topic, but these responses to one new person claiming he doesn't want one because he doesn't want to be harassed by idiots in general via a parser... this is getting a little witch-hunty.
No he wasn't. He said he doesn't want people to harras him, but calling people idiots is fine? If I was telling that group the DPS was low, I would probably been one of those ''idiot's'' he talks about, no? I never told them they were bad, some one left on his own and I left right after, left me and my friend no peneality, because I wanted to help. In all honesty, I get you with your witch-hunt comment, but please, give me a good reason why it's fine to call people ''idiots'' because there are people willing to help others out, but they have no power, before people turn into idiots helping out, or people being offended by the slightest little thing. To be fair he did just say "no" as in he doesn't want one, not "no, eff you all who want one."

He doesn't want people to harras him right? What about a large scale of the community doesn't want people to be lazy or give a damn? Respect goes both ways no? Or am I wrong?
I know I shouldn't posted that one comment, how should I put it.. immature. So I shouldn't have left it there, however, calling idiot's isn't excactly mature, especially saying he doesn't want people to harras him, but started of harrasing people. I take my blame, and I went a bit far there, he however. I'd love to see his own respons on the topic.

I was trying to be polite, but thanks for the picture, I've seen a few in this thread and the lack of posts showing parser harassment really paints a picture of the REAL problems in the game.
I wasn't actually referring to the player solely, rather the mentality that is being driven by the opinion as a whole (I tried to be as polite as possible). This isn't about witch hunts, in fact the opposite, and your reaction towards Seaphix is really confusing. Her entire point is not directed at the player, but rather providing proof of the countless points and rebuttals that we have been providing for 80 pages. This thread has actually been very reasonable for one that has lasted this far and the group that "will use a parser for harassment" has simply tried to prove it's points with evidence and solutions with the attempt to provide ways to make the game better and more accessible for those willing to try.
Remind me again where the witch hunt is?
Hm.
Tanks get booted when they don't do their job and the content doesn't get finished. Everybody does see, who is the one.
Healers get bootet when the party constantly dies because of not enough healing and the content gets not finished. Here too, everybody does see who is the one.
When missing damage is the reason to not clear the content like in the example 66% enrage in A8 story mode, it is a which hunt when people want to know who is causing this issue?
My answer: There should be equal rights for all 3 roles. This would be fair to everybody else.
