Why are only DPS players being called out? If SE implements a parser, tanks and healers will need to pump out as much dps as possible. Healers and tanks don't get a free pass either.

I think you missed out a lot of topics then. Many threads about healers won't dps. I don't really see it's needed in dungeons or easy faceroll content, but when you stay afk and nothing to heal and complain there is nothing going on, that one is on the healer.
The healers and tanks been called out for ages, if you can't hold aggro = tanks fault. Healer wont heal enough= dead people = healers fault. If anything DPS's getting alot more freepasses than those 2 jobs.
Oh, I'm specifically talking about damage alone. Every single argument for Parsers is that the DPS players don't want to have accountability. This is for everyone now. Tanks can't just spam single rotations anymore. Everyone gonna be called out. Any tank can do the bare minimum and spam overpower. Now everyone in the game is gonna have to use their kits. Not sure how not wanting Parsers is only a dps player thing.I think you missed out a lot of topics then. Many threads about healers won't dps. Well yah that's obvious :P! I rarely see tanks spam the aggro combo but then again it happens and which is already a bad thing so yeah XD.Oh, I'm specifically talking about damage alone. Like KarstenS said before, DPS are missing transparency in ther main task.
The following is my own opinion and not a official statement.
Main task of tanks: Holding hate on all enemies, mitigating damage taken.
First is easy to prove: just a look on the enmity bars in the party list or the colored dot before the name in the party list. Second is not really poveable, demand for parsers.
Bonus task of tanks: dealing damage.
Damage is a sideproduct of many basic tank actions. Good tanks can maximize this bonus while reducing the overdoing in their main tasks.
Main task of healers: Recovering the party from damage taken, mitigating damage.
Easy to prove: no one died, so all is okay, mein task complete.
Bonus task of healers: dealing damage.
Healers can use their free times to switch into their damage stance or maximize this bonus by reducing their commitment in healing to the minimum.
Main task of DPS: doing damage (more then a compareable healer or tank)
No way to prove if a DPS is doing well or just bad. And just cause things are dying is no prove if a DPS is doing his main task.
I omitte the bonus task of DPS on this point.
You are talking about you don't bring the bonus you could do, fine, but don't forget DRKs "dps" skills are also mitigation skills...

Beside the console support, one point for getting an official tool is accuracy.
DoT and HoT ticks still get only send as a combined number (not individual) to the client and are only shown in the flying screen text. In the battle log they are missing at all.
The HoT and DoT emulation of the current tools is getting better.
But only an official tool can provide exact numbers.

You can already tell if someone isn't pulling their weight, just look at the enmity meter to scout if a DPS is well below his fellows. This number thing, in my opinion, and how much you're doing and this crit for this amount is all garbage. I play with names off, numbers off, and most UI things off. Immersion > obsessing, however I do think having the training dummy give feedback in one way or another, doesn't have to be numbers, is a necessary tool for learning proper rotations.
