I think in game parsers would be fine given that some classes derive their own damage from someone else.
How else does a DNC know who to partner if they can't see the damage numbers...? Assuming is the only way, which isn't a great thing tbh cause you just never know. It gets worse when you have to assume between two similar DPS or two of the same DPS. (This goes with AST too, but maybe to a lesser extent. If you can't see numbers how do you know you're making the best decision?)
I mean it does encourage some sort of toxicity I guess but, wiping also does that already.
All I would see it doing is encourage people to hit higher, which is always a nice thing, there is always going to be toxic players but that is why blocking exists.

aggro. You can see people's aggro position in party list. The number is kinda small so it is hard to notice.Obviously aggro 1 and 2 will be tanks. Assuming no one dies, the dps with highest aggro is doing Most damage. That's how l play cards as ast
Aggro isn't 100% accurate of the dps a person is doing.
Even in aggro cases there are burst phases u can't account for and it doesn't tell the entire story even among a party without wipes, that's why I brought up similar and same dps, because each dps has a different burst phase and some dps are more prone to use it first giving the illusion of a better dps in enmity. (even when holding is the meta for 2mins)

I'm not upset because I thought you exaggerating, I'm more upset that you think great healers do medica 2 when there is no raid aoe or when tank loses a bit HP. That makes me more upset than anything.
