Suggestion: Spam Filter from FFXI

Back in the days of FFXI, right when RMT advertising got really bad, SE instituted a brand new filter that we players could use if we desired. It was the Spam filter and it came in two categories, Shout and Tell. It almost immediately stopped all RMT tells and with a couple of Feedback Reports from the players, they stopped entirely. If this was brought over to FFXIV it would alleviate a lot of the player problems of miscommunication or downright no communication. Personally, the RMT tells are so bad on the Midgardsormr server that I have put my tells on a separate, hidden, tab and turned off my tell notification sound. This saves my sanity and visible chat log from the constant stream of advertisements and keeps my blacklist from filling up. The downside to this is no one else can communicate with me via tell unless they reach me in another way first then I show my tells.

Bottom line, aka TLDR, Can we please somehow bring the spam filter from FFXI to FFXIV? Thank you!
