What class needs a buff or nerf?

Dragoon is basically a Monk for Dummies IMO. So I wouldn't feel bad. But as a BLM and DRK guy I can feel your lack of utility but you have to consider that the fact you have traited Mantra is a good thing to have.

mantra is about as useful as foresight on a dragoon, which is not at all.

20% healing increase is nice, but hardly ever needed and very situational, at best it would help with a crit adlo + dployment on a defianced war. outside of that use i cant see it factoring into anything related to "monks useful utility"

Well to be fair BLM still does more damage than DRG.

You are saying that DRG isn't far behind you and I'm saying that BLM is even closer than DRGs, in case you were implying that DRGs are doing too much damage. That's all.

Just did a few runs on my 222 alt nin, and the runs went way slower instead of me on my blm, I made sure to use my crappy aoe when it was needed but it just sucks too much, you can do everything right with nin but you will literally, never, ever, match a blm in terms of single target and in terms of aoe, and dungeons/raids are full of trash mobs so why play a class that is useless in 80% of a dungeon or raid. I ran away screaming and put all the gear back on my retainer, nins are good retainers.

That was my investigation, keep in mind nin was my first 60 so I try to like the class but the shortcomings are very glaring.

Ninja is falling somewhat behind and no reason at all it's aoe should not be on par or close to Drg and Monk.
Yes yes i am sure some of you Monk's would cry for another buff to Monk, C'est la vie!
If more utility was given to Monk it's overall damage (single target mainly) would need to be reduced. The reason Monk has best ST damage is because it has to make up for lack of utility.

As far as Nin or blm goes well it really depends on player, there are some very impressive Ninjas out there. Of course though it would never match aoe of blm, none of the melee classes come close.

Thing is though if I run DRK and I get a monk my utility is screwed.
