I've been using http://www.mooglebox.com since YG's old and gross.

The sorting and filters are really nice; you can type "not dated" in the filter to immediately remove any old gear/items without reloading the page.

Another thing I noticed, it seems all of the equipment has "Optimal Rank." Most equipment, especially colored ones, are now "Required Rank."

Only the colored gears are now "Required Rank". The uncolored are still optimal.

I want to add this feature, but have to look into the best way to track monster drops. I wonder if a Log parser could be the way to go.

I really like the idea of the quest tracker, but it doesn't seem to be reading my profile correctly. Hardly any of the quests I've completed are showing as completed, and one of them even shows as locked (level too low) despite having completed it.

I found a way to retrieve 1000 lodestone items when lodestone only made 100 available. They fixed that this morning . So i had to rework my quest tracker. Works now.

I don't know how long it'll take to change, or if it's too annoying, I don't want to trouble you, but it's no longer "Rank", it's "Level".

Nice site, I'll definitely be using it. A nitpick even though I know where the item(s) can be found; I ran a query for botanist equipment from 30-40 with the gathering stat and every item listed directs it to Lower Tailor Ward whereas they should be in the Middle/Upper.

This site is the best resource I could find. Hope you don't stop keeping it up to date. You should add a donation section for smotivation

Money I like it I will think about adding Donations. If I can make enough to offset the hosting costs that'd be great. I wanted a resource for myself that was accurate. At the time I started the site, FFXIV pro data was stale... they have updated things since and YG is still outdated.

I didn't mean to step on XIVpads feet regarding the quest tracker. I saw a JP FFXIV site which had that feature and said this would be great to have for the english players.

For example, I want to search for all legs weaver can make, and then based on there stats, decide which i want to make. I would like to be able to do this without clicking on each item to see its stats.

Do you mean in the recipe page? If so, GOOD IDEA! I'll add lite item info to recipe and make the site static. It will decrease server load and increase response time too.

Wow man, this site is Fantastic, puts a lot of other to shame..

You may want to consider some kind of scaling mechanism for when people are not in Maximized window. Purely aesthetic, but when your text and form boxes are pushed out of alignment is looks a little unprofessional.

Oo oo a good suggestion to give you an even bigger edge..

If you can make some kind of Comparison function where you can do side by sides of say 2 different shirts, like shopping sites do, that would give you a HUGE advantage over other sites.

I went ahead and changed the recipe page to include more useful info (per meatdawgs suggestions) while still maintaining its simplicity. Also decreased recipe page load time significantly.

Also, due to feedback I added the ability to filter items that include 'Any Gathering Stat' and 'Any Crafting Stat'.

Tried the quest tracker, but just like the person before, its completely wrong. It has quests either listed as locked or too low that i've already completed. Excellent website though
