    Duty Finder idea: keep the party setup

    After wait for hours to enter Syrcus tower and more than 15 withdraws happended, I was wondering why the party reset every withdraw happens. If there are a party of 24 formed, and only one or two players forget/don't want/withdraw/troll or whaetever, why the other 23 players who click commence must be disbanded? Is it not better just keep that 23 ones and search only for one member instead of start again and reset the search? It is very annoying, specially in 24 man raid where is always one or two who forget click the commence button. The current configuration only makes you wait over and over and over, because will be always one who withdraw in this long waits. Keep the ones who clicked commence and fill only the ones who withdraw instead of reset the entire search, and probably the DF will be quicker for this kind of content.

    it should work like pvp frontlines tbh, in frontline the only time someone can cause a queue to fail is if whole gc withdraws at pop.

    the missing members are the found during the 2 minute preptime in duty

    seen this happen twice in like 2000 pops

    But with Frontline (generally) you have enough people to start even if you're down a few, but with pretty much everything else, if you're a tank or healer down, it's going to make things a lot trickier. And if it's a light party, you're not going to be able to move at all until a replacement arrives.

    So I agree with the OP in that if they have the party that is nearly full, why not keep that and just add another person to it when they come along BEFORE we go in (instead of sending us all back to the bottom of the queue again).

    I think this mostly happens when people are queuing for multiple things. i.e. someone may queue for LotA, ST and WoD all at once - while someone else is queueing WoD/ST and finally someone else is just ST. When it makes the ST group and someone drops, everyone goes back to their original queues - in case LotA pops first for that first person.

    in a 24-man raid, you don't need all heals/tanks/dps to get going. Most the time it's actually overkill for what they give us role-wise. I think the bigger issue is that they'd enter and then be stuck in an in-progress que, and we see how often those gets filled <_<;
