Au Ra Problems (First World Problems)

Pillows. It's useless for me to buy pillows. One night of sleep and they're ruined from stabby-stab-stab.

And never - I mean never - being able to sleep on your side comfortably, because of the horns. But not being able to sleep on your back either, because of the tail.

Turning your head too fast, and slicing your own shoulders. Or, turning too fast, and slicing someone *else's* anatomy of choice. Ow ow ow.

And let me tell you, "Waxing the Turtle" jokes? Can we just skip those already? They were old the first time.

Hah. Poor ancestry, my fellow raen.

I've never had such an issue! All thanks to great genetics, my horns are rather blunt. Just be thankful you weren't born male... Feel sorry for some of our brothers that have to sleep sitting, or leaning against a wall...

Sleeping upon my back is of little issue, but I can't for the life of me sleep on my side! My horn lifts my head in such a manner that I end up with a sore neck. Though front facing horns do come with other... err... problems.

I don't understand, at all, why the tail would be an issue for Au Ra laying on their backs. Its not an issue for Miqo'te, and certain Au Ra tails are smaller and thinner than many Miqo'te's. I'm not sure even the croc-tail would be an issue laying on.

Certain horns could have issues laying on the side or back, though, I will give you that. But that would be something the individual adapts to.

I think my Au Ra would have a rough time sleeping since I gave her the thickest tail. If I'm going to be playing a "dragon" race, then dammit I'm going to make the dragon-iest dragon there is. >

Do you really want to get blood all over your bed? Sure, we moonlight in the murder of various creatures, but I prefer my sleep to be comfortable, and bathing in blood isn't quite so. D:

That's the problem with you Raens you lack understanding of the natural state. When you sleep on the ground you use your shoulder to keep your head off the ground so you get fewer parasites. IF you sleep like that you have no problem with horns.
