There are tons of mount and barding ideas I have but I dont see a full collective place where everyone can share their ideas for mounts/bardings they would like to see out in the future of FFXIV. (ﾉ^ヮ^)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

Mount/Barding Name: Adventurer's Barding
What is it? How would it be Obtained? Would be one of the first Bardings you receive once you get your chocobo from the GC

Inspiration for this mount? Someone made this back for FFXI and I always wanted to see all of our adventuring junk (saddle bags, extra potions, sleeping bags, extra swords...) on our chocobos.
How would it fit into the FFXIV universe? We are adventurers first and foremost and we must have a ton of gear and extra stuff hang off our mounts while we are out traveling distant lands.

What is it? How would it be Obtained? A high level fate or quest

How would it fit into the FFXIV universe?I would love to be able to ride a giant stag of some sort even if it was an antelope stag that is already found in the Black Shroud. Im sure it wouldn't be hard to create some lore behind a largish stag like creature we could ride found in one of the many forested areas of FFXIV.

They already gave us a Drg, Pld, Whm, and Blm barding. I'd like a themed barding for every Job in the game at some point.

why isnt there ifrit barding, garuda barding and titan barding? every newer primal but moogle got their barding as well. Even odin had its barding early on. I agree i want a drk barding and a smn barding as well

It is time once again for me to rally for an Aldgoat mount! Though my chances are slimmer than ever now that everything needs to fly.. ; ;

What is it? How would it be Obtained? Seasonal event? A fun little quest? Hildebrand? Dungeon drop? Primal drop? Just give it to me. >_>
Inspiration for this mount? I've loved Aldgoats since 1.0. I need to gallop across Thanalan, nay, ALL OF EORZEA astride one of those majestic beasts.
How would it fit into the FFXIV universe? They already exist. Lore says the Dunesfolk see them as symbols of wealth and prosperity. Do we need any more of a reason!?


*Edit* I got it! If it needs to fly it can be a Starlight Celebration reward. Since there aren't really any reindeer mobs in the game Godbert- er, the Saint of Nymeia can have a team of magical flying Aldgoat. :'D
