How is this a cry baby thread? It is about opening up more houses for the active player base to use, and not for inactive people who pop in only to proc the timer and then leave. If you set more requirements to what is necessary to hold a house, it eliminates the lazy self-entitled people who'll hold a plot for the sake of holding a plot. This in turn allows for people who really want a house, to work for it, and to enjoy it more. Rent/tokens is simply a means of weeding out those who don't really care about it anymore, but are too selfish or prideful to relinquish the plot.

Sorry that there are people who want a house and are poking at your precious, but believe it or not just because you're content and happy that you've got a house, doesn't mean everything is okay.

Hopefully prices are going through the roof in 3.3, so those who really want a house and work for it will get them. As far as enjoying it more, that sentiment is what makes this a crybaby thread. It's hard to use that argument without sounding like a petulant child begging for something from mom and dad.

I worked hard to save the gil for my house. I'm sorry not everyone was able to, but I shouldn't be penalized for my hard work just because some kid can't have a shiny. They are making new housing wards soon, so how about you just save your gil for new housing and let us be. I don't like the fact people are greedy and get alt housing any more than you guys do, but the answer isn't to penalize all of us.
