    Merge determination and spell/skill speed

    Sigh by now i would of thought det and speed would combine into 1 stat as speed does the same thing as det just that speed effects dots which is the only difference between the 2 stats

    So i would like to see these 2 stats merge as 1 and make these changes

    REMOVE SPEAR
    Removing spear from ast which yields 25% CDR instead turn spear into a stat on gear as using it as a buff turns rotations bad and sends cooldowns all over the place which confuses players

    Tactical Enhancement
    Reduce the cooldown of abilities and reduce Tp/mp cost of abilities

    Litterally this can work.... Instead of AST having to be a mind reader to use spear turning it into a stat would be soo useful but cap it at 25% CDR just like spear

    i normally use Spear to try and get and expanded Royal Road. I rarely use it otherwise.

    So its the current Spear with the old effects of Original HW Ewer/Spire tacked on. :/

    Spear isn't even a bad card if you know how to play other jobs, you know when in the rotation they use their CD's and you can use it with your own...

    Double post due to being on mobile

    But yeah this is my main problem when playing AST i normally go by "blood for blood" buff then throw spear or wait for "atherflow" to reach 1, or "Hot Shot" or on "Prepull". Other then this SPEAR is extreamly hard to use >.>

    So many times i had a mech complain or bard or smn/sch u litterally need to have a 6th sense to correctly use spear

    So i come up with a better idea and that was turn spear into a meanful stat on gear with the same cap as spear which ia 25% plus adding old ewer/spire to it so it be more attractive to most jobs ingame

    Healers/tanks/dps all benefit from this stat it will also allow players to pick there stat path like Crit/speed Or Tact/crit. Tact/speed i was going to split up crjt and critical damage to allow more options but i dont know will make new thread for ideas

    I know how to use spear >.> but in mid fight spear get more tricky to use on prepull its a no brainer

    In mid fight u can completely ruin a job rotation that uses cooldowns which the disorientates the player and send there cooldowns all over the place which forces the player to adapt quickly mid fight as u screwed up there normal rotation

    I would rather Ast keep the spear card, and for the spear to simply work retroactively. If it reduced abilities that were on cooldown (but didn't affect them if they were taken off cooldown by the ability), and also while under it's effect reduced cooldown of abilites that have yet to be granted a boon from the card. This way, the card would be universally useful no matter who it was thrown on, or when.

    Det and speed the same thing where? They are nothing at all the same... det increase the overall healing done and speed increase the speed of your casts. Where is that the same? O.o

    About a AST card, yes spear has very few choices, usually I royal road it to extend to use on me or a NIN if there is one.

    About the Spear Card I sort of agree but it could be easily fixed by working retroactively (if they ever bother to fix it that is). As of now Spear requires some sort of team communication, something that you'll never find in anything but raiding and/or premades, rendering it practically useless.

    But for the merge...I doubt something like that could happen since that Determination increases overall damage and healing done. But Spell and Skill speed could be easily merged into a unique stat (many games do this already)

    Speed does more than just enhance dots. A lot more, in fact.

    Just to some classes it's detrimental. Also, we need more secondary stats, not less.

    If someone gets comfortable with their job, they can reason how to deal with CDs being available sooner.. And by that logic, how do you handle mechanics that interrupt your rotation???
