Yay for moral support!
Yay for moral support!
I agree with you OP. I think as a company they should listen to the fans for all of their games.
Its been a decade now fans been begging for a remake of a certain game.
Rebirth of the Phoenix would probably make a good name for the PS3 launch. Or even for an expansion.
come on pple give more love!
No offense to the OP but Blizzard communicate with its players and accept similar feedback via their forums and Public Test Realm.
I do agree that Yoshi-p is doing a great job though, especially considering he is working at SE, who would have thought a dev there would be so open to players opinions.
Keep up the good work FFXIV team, I look forward to 1.20 and 1.21 even more.

This thread is to show Yoshi-P and his team some support and appreciation. To encourage him and his team to give their all for the development of 2.0 to make sure that it will be the most epic mmo of all times.
So complaining about how bad the game was when it released, which we are all very well aware of, even SE knows and publicly admited it... so i don't get why some of you bring it up. The purpose here is not to look at the past and cry about it, but look at the future and cheer the dev on and provide our input as per what we wish to see.
I agree wholeheartedly! Go Yoshi-P and Team! I know you can do it!This thread is to show Yoshi-P and his team some support and appreciation. To encourage him and his team to give their all for the development of 2.0 to make sure that it will be the most epic mmo of all times.

Given the work that has been done, and the constant communication (where previously, for years as well if you count FFXI there was next to no communication) given by Yoshi-P. And this goes far and beyond Blizzard's level of communication. Blizzard shows off features, nods and impliments things that they like out of the sea of people shouting at them for this that and the other thing.
Yoshi-P? He gives progress reports with every producer letter. Every one of them is both an insight into the development team as well as a progress bar as to what's happening when and why. This is on top of listening to feedback and incorporating such into the development process. On top of jumping at opportunities to clarify miscommunication.
The guy is single-handedly trying to lead SE's general development process in a new direction by example. And considering the size and traditions of the company, that's a monumental task.
That alone deserves respect, praise and support, continually, if for no other reason that SE should have not a single reason to believe that the policies Yoshi P is trying to get the company at large to adapt is flawed in any way. We don't want SE to go back to the way it was before this guy showed up and was given the reigns. Ever. IMO he's the best thing that's happened to the company since before the Enix merge and the company heads should be sitting at his feet taking notes on how to run their company.
Because if he pulls off the recovery we're hoping for in 2.0, he will have redeemed Square Enix, and put a bit of hope that Final Fantasy can still have a bit of the magic we loved so much as children.
You can be angry all you want at the company, but back this guy up. He's the turning point we've been looking for.
Positive energy moves to positive outcomes...negativity only breeds destruction.
post deleted Inflammatory comments lol
I support SE!!
This game is the most fun its been and Yoshi-P is a great director so far!
