Theory of the end of Heavensward and the beggining of 4.0

I think all remember well how ended Realm Reborn with the 2.5.
It was chaos at Ul'dah.

Ala Mhigo

Well, with the rumors of Ala Mhigo for the 4.0 from previous patch, concepts art and people, I think this time we could see chaos at Gridania. Here my though.

In this dark days, Ishgard will face soon at 3.3 the terrible dragon Nidhogg.

After that, we could imagine for the 3.4, a preview where will lead us to the new expansion. I think, Papalymo and Yda will be back at Gridania to inform people that Garleans who occupy the last big city of Eorzea, Ala Mhigo, are preparing stuff for engaging an invasion of Gridania. I can recall previously, people from this eastern city tried to invade Gridania but were defeated by the four nations we know : Gridania, Ul'dah, Limsa Lominsa and Ishgard. So yeah, it would fit well already to see this invasion coming again after the reentry of Ishgard in the Alliance of Eorzea.

Ala Mhigo is in the region called Gyr Abania and is separate from Gridania by another region named Xelphatol.

So what i think, in 3.5, the invasion begins and all the force of the Alliance will standing at the gate of Gridania and in the Black Shroud. We will have the task to repel Garleans. I feel the epic moment already

At the 4.0, after, the Alliance will decide to free Ala Mhigo. We cross maybe some new region in Black Shroud, then Xelphatol and Gyr Abania before to arrive in the city-state Ala Mhigo.

Like for Heavensward, i'll see the hero group up with some PNJ. I'am sure Raubahn will be one of the them because of his history. Maybe Lucia to confirm the alliance between Ishgard and the rest of 3 city-states plus some others motivations (she is from Garlemald). And why not Alisaie to change from Alphinaud (or Unukalhai, it could be interesting). And, personnally, i would like to see the adventurer Gnath from the best tribe. We could see the guy from Monk Job, Widargelt.

Padjal


Raya-O-Senna, Kan-E-Senna, A-Ruhn-Senna

For the new race, i see the Padjal, like Kan-E-Senna and E-Sumi-Yan. I think their civilization (maybe Gelmorra ? which was here before Gridania and responsible for the construction of Tam-Tara, Toto-Rak and Mun-Tuy) is located somehow in Black Shroud and they will help Gridania to fight against Garlemald. It will possible to finally see the dungeons Issom-Har and the return of Mun-Tuy Cellars from the 1.0. Their city could be found in the Gelmorra Ruins.

So yeah, we will have 2 cities this time ^^



Concerning the job, i will not go in the details, but Samurai and Red Mage will be found in the beginning of the extension in the city of Gelmorra.

Red Mage (Queen from FF Type-0)

One samurai from Ala Mhigo has fled his country to come in Gelmorra and will taught us his knowledges. The Red Mage will be a branch of Conjurer (like Summoner & Scholar for Arcanist) with the White Mage and will be taught by a Padjal in Gelmorra too. Samurai will be a DPS class, Red Mage will be a Healer-DPS-Support class.

Concerning the raid, it will be take us on the moon to fight the Warriors of Darkness, the Ascians and maybe Zodiarch in the end

For the end of 4.0, i see chaos at Limsa Lominsa because of volcano O'Ghomoro which will erupt. We will need to evacuate people and take boat to go on some islands (hi job Pirate)...

Well the Padjal's aren't really a race, just children who are blessed with a special connection with the elements, also there's only like a super small amount of them so it would be weird seeing them out in the streets. Also with the volcano, is the volcano near the actually city state or is it in their territory?

Yeah Powe, i understand for the Padjals, but you know at the end of the quest 60 for White Mage, Raya-O-Senna and A-Ruhn-Senna have understand they can't just live forever in Black Shroud and must leave their cocoon to see others places (if i remember well). For their small number, well, SE could surprise us by bring them out of the deepest part of the Black Shroud.
Concerning the volcano, i'am thinking of O'Ghomoro which is located on Vylbrand. Yeah, people from La Noscea will be in serious danger.

Well I remember reading the cat women from XI had a male counterpart but since theres only a few they were never seen, and because there was such a small number, SE thought it would be weird having a small group being playable.
Well the volcano cant affect the city state itself because it would be a huge change for the players old and new. But maybe something less land changing, like another 2.55 thing.

Male Mithra(the cat race from FFXI) did indeed stay home and take care of the kittens. the one we DID see was mobbed for attention.

As for the Padjal, They're Hyur who have been blessed by the Elementals to act as intermediaries for the rest of the nation and to be its de facto leaders. It's canon that most of them keep to the deepest part of the Shroud in their own village. If I recall correctly, the majority of them spend their time calming the lesser spirits, Kan-E and the rest of her contingent left the village as moral support to the city-state so a representative of the leaders of the nation would be on hand.

Side note that I never tire of trotting out: the Conjurer trainer is actually older than Kan-E by a wide margin, but gave the leadership position to her since she looks older.

Wait there is a village of them ?!?! when was this said?

I doubt they would have the Padjal as a playable race for a quite a large number of reasons.
