    HQ dmg not adding up

Made a +3 Demilune Bhuj, and the base damage just doesn't look right. Judging by the NQ, and the +1, the +1 seems to add 3-4% dmg, so the +3 should have around 10 more dmg than the +1. Anyone else think this looks off?

    141 * 1.035 = 145.935 > rounded to 146

    141 * 1.07 = 150.87 > rounded to 151

    3.5% increase for HQ1 and 7% for HQ3

Did they get rid of +2's?

I heard its alwasy been 3-4% for +1 and then another 1.5 for +2 , and 1.5 for +3 which would add up here based on the old logic.

No I have a +2 Jade Crook, and a +2 Barbarian's Bardiche. The Bardiche's dmg looks consistent... maybe the +3's are only as good as the +2's now...

Before the update, it was 5% for each tier of HQ, don't know where you heard that.

This is across the board I know hart guisarm is the same way:
    135>140>142>145
    nq>+1>+2>+3

(I have not seen a +3 hart guisarm which does NOT follow the 7% increase that we are seeing with the OP's +3:

    135 * 1.07 = 144.45 (does SE round .45 up or chop it off?)

what you said still holds true

    "before the update"

everything was reworked to be different now

when the hq patch goes in itl be a clear difference but til then i wouldnt focus so much on hqing items for use right now as i would be saving for making hq stuff post hq patch

    Yes, something is wrong here.

I made a Steel Dolabra +3, and the gathering stat is only 57. The NQ gathering stat is 53. That's around a 7% increase for a +3. In addition, HQ on gathering tools no longer boost output and perception. That's just ridiculous for the effort and expense it took to make the +3.

ya basic rule: ifrit weapon is better then anything we can make right now even with materia and HQ across the board sucks since it only affects def / dmg / gathering and nothing useful on any of the new items to actually make a difference for non DOW classes.

Really hope they make it worth HQ'ing things other then just to help the forbidden % chance by 1-2%.
