can a personal house be converted to a fc house

I have accumulated mast amounts of gil and plan on buying a personal house in ishgard. if i decide to create my own fc can i make it to a fc house after buying it as personal house?

As far as I'm aware, no. It will forever remain a personal house until relinquished.

As far as I know, no, there is no easy button for this. You can, however, relinquish the land and have you or somebody in you FC immediately purchase the plot for the FC. Which sucks, because you have to pay for everything again. I would wait tho. The last notes from the producer said 3.3 is going to add more plots

No, you can't turn a personal house into an FC house or vice versa.

Ishgard housing isn't coming until 3.4 though, so that's at least 5+ months away and even then we only know about the apartment style housing (like FC room but attached to SE's house instead of a FC house). We don't know that there will be actually houses you can buy is what I'm saying, they haven't confirmed that part.

New plots are coming in the existing wards in 3.3 in a month or so though.

This is a shame: I was planning to do something like that for my house, wanting to play as a sort of Inn/apartment for my future members (hey I'm bored, gotta do something)...but if this is the case then I guess no can do.

Don't enter your house for 45 days, after they reinstate housing demolition, which is currently on pause because of the natural disasters in Japan. This could be risky and takes allot of time. You'll get 80% of your investment back.

It's not great, but it's an option.
Since you haven't bought it yet, I'd make sure your fc is in working order and high enough rank to purchase a plot and forego trying to transition between personal to fc.
