Bard and Barrage

How does it work?

Been spamming all my cooldowns for a while now
Except I dont use blood for blood when things get quite dangerous

But I do wanna learn more about how Bard Cooldowns works

Mostly I wanna know more about Barrage

Is Barrage best used with Empyreal Arrow? Or Sidewinder?

Should I use all my cooldowns at the start of a boss with Barrage + Empyreal Arrow
last?

Any info would be welcome
Tried to find some information, but all the info I could find was outdated :S (9 months+)

Do your self a fave and get b4b your a ranges DPS so chances of you getting hit is pretty low if you play it safe and know the rotation of bosses etc.. If you can't get used to WM you should honestly change to an archer or monk, nin or dragoon.. IMO a bard who doesn't play songs is useless IMO even WP, and knowing what status effects you can remove is helpful.. Every second counts if you have exp a 1% enrage and leaving ballad on or army's on because you forgot will cause that enrage.

Straight shot before you barrage combo then follow up with a repllingshot and then an instant (I use feint) I play a weird bard and follow no guides but I still pull top DPS unless a player knows there job

Your wrong.. Sorry but WP and a few skills got there TP reduced.

Barrage only affects weaponskills. Sidewinder is an ability and thus not affected by barrage. And since (u already seem to know) empy is the weaponskill with the highest potency, you'll use Barrage with that.

So going something like this could work?

Foe > Straight shot > Bloodletter > Flamming Arrow (If needed) Venomous Bite > Windbite > Sidewinder > (If boss) pop cooldowns and Barrage + Empyreal Arrow

Then spam Heavy shot for the crit proc and Iron Jaws for the for the dot refresh and blood letter when it comes up while making sure that straight shot buff is on

If AOE Mob Barrage + Wide Volley

Always keeps Foe up and use battle voice cd for bosses while using mage ballad if healers need mana badly
Dunno about the army song because it has a damage reduction...
While spamming swiftsong after a battle ends

And off course Misery ends at the end of everything to end a mobs life in the end

Seems thats the order to do the most damage I guess? :S

Do not spam wide volley for aoe. Since it is the same potency as quick nock use quick nock instead. The tp used by wide volley is ludicrous.

Barrage only works for single target weaponskills. The only use for Barrage is with Empyreal Arrow.

I wouldn't sidewinder immediately after DoTs. I can't count on server putting the DoT in before sidewinder calculates damage. I've always done my barrage + emp before sidewinder just in case.

Also for AOE, unless things die super fast, it's almost always better to multidot and fish for rain of death procs. better TP, and lot of times equal or more damage.
