Could we please get a male faerie for Scholar?

Today someone asked me if there were any male faeries in the game, and while I told them no to the best of my knowledge (I'm still leveling SCH) I thought it was nice idea. They could give it to us as a third faerie through the Summon III ability (although I'll not try to suggest what role a third faerie should fill). Or I figured you could possibly make it work through the "Egi Glamour" system that's currently in the works for Summoner.

Either way would be fine with me. As much as I love Eos and Selene, I just thought it might be nice to have a male faerie option as well. Perhaps he could be named Helios, since he was the brother of Selene and Eos in Greek mythology. What do you all think? Anyone else like this idea?

I was going to say the same thing. It's a big part of the job's appeal for me.

There's only one faerie a scholar has. Lily. Lily has two sides if the coin to her, like day and night.
So it's not as if there's a reason (yet) a male-like faerie would appear.

Well there is a male god for dusk i think, Selene is the moon goddess while Eos is the goddess of the dawn, maybe in 4.0 we'll get a male who switches from Helios to the dusk god

Off-topic but you're mostly right. Astraeus and so is Helios. Eos... is a weird case. I found that she was described as both a Titan and the goddess of dawn. Selene, however, was a daughter of a Titan, not one herself. Instead Selene actually was the goddess of the moon.
