Correct, two hidden nodes cannot be up at the same time, so at least rush to collect the unique item it holds before hitting another regular node. If another hidden node appears it will overwrite the previous.

to get the maximum out of it you hit 4 nodes to 1 hit left before you use favor.
when a concealed pop, you hit it always first only take the hidden item and close it! dont collect the cluster!
than you fly to next node! basic you are gathering nodes until run out once the concealed node pop it will be stay even the time run out.
so when you have 14 sec left you still can do 4 hits and hope for a concealed spawn
