Small selection of gear for DoM?

Is it just me, or is the selection of available gear for DoM in the market wards rather... small, compared to DoW? There are just a couple of attires with nice looks/stats available, and of course the prices of those are blown completely out of proportion. The other attires that would be nice catches are always at 0, in other words, none available.

Now of course, this might just be a problem on the Gysahl server, what do I know? Have anyone else noticed this?

DoM do indeed get screwed in terms of gear. I've yet to find a decent crafted pair of shoes...
I haven't searched for legs yet.

Head/Body/Hands/Legs exist, but there's so few choices, everybody picks up the Felt (Brown) set + an elemental ringband and then all look exactly the same.

It's not that much different on DoW imo. Since there are only a few select pieces which are viable to each class, but there are more classes in DoW than in DoM, it looks to be more biased. However, both DoM's benefit from roughly the same stats, and the variation only really comes in through materia.

Yes, I guess there is shortage for Dow too, I haven't searched too much for those items. In any case I know there are other items than the Bliauds for example, but either no one crafts those, or they sell so fast I never get a chance to buy them. And if I do come across something likable, it's up for at least 1 million gil. And I can't even hope of achieving that much money myself, since I'm no big crafter/gatherer. Sigh. I wish more people would put variations of crafted gear up for sale.

All the items are still very new, and dyed gear is getting snatched up quickly unless its very overpriced. You're in a linkshell, perhaps you could commission a LSmate to craft you the gear you're after? hit up mooglebox.com and find the item you want, buy the materials (be sure to check the vendor price of the mats before you get them off the wards) then pay your buddy a nice healthy commission to whip it up for you. Of course if you're missing the right crafter in your LS you'll have to get more creative, or do some shouting and find someone trustworthy to make it outside of your LS.
