We'll see but I'm pretty sure it'll be way more than x2, at least for small and medium plot.

I think Square will adjust the prices in the same way as when housing came out, so that the gil sink works again.

If you remember housing patch, most FC could not afford any house, and housing plots remained up and available for months, prices had the time to go down to the minimum price (half the price) before someone had the gil to spend on it. If they want it to work again that way, I think doubling prices won't be enough and we're more talking about x5 or even more, at least on my server.

People are buying everyday allagan replicas and other glamour stuff at the price of half a house, that's saying a lot about their purse status !

The one thing everyone seems to be forgetting about the Housing release for FCs only several years ago is, NO ONE HAD AS MUCH MONEY AS WE DO NOW! LOLOL I have as much money as what my FC had in TOTAL to FINALLY buy a medium plot and build the house! LMAO Now you have players who have 100s of millions in gil! My GF saw a player for XIV on Youtube, who literally had over 900 mil in gil. So yeah. It's a little ridiculous. You also have to remember, gathering and crafting are NOT the only ways for people to make insane money. Selling wins is another.

I can agree with this and your example of Mini Cactpot was a good one but then you run into issues with doing that. The out cries of, "Why can't I just buy Gold Saucer items with gil if you're going to charge me gil for playing Mini Cactpot?!" etc etc.
