SE should built a large arena in one of the cities for performances

There is a mini-game attached to them. If you look in the top right of the screen, you have to press a button when the circle hits the music note.

I dont want to see Hatsune Miku in ffxiv.. It would be weird. I wouldnt mind some sort of arena though. Could have a small arena for 1v1 pvp battles or a large arena for multiple battles at a time(you can only hit your opponent, nobody else) and a larger arena for events with spectators. It could be for dances/musicals or it could be for plays. It could even be a place for fireworks shows during the holidays(spend new years with a loved one for instance/imagine seeing the count down to new years hosted by Kan E Senna xD) Could also do some player ran events and things like the history of the world and national geographic type tv shows air on some some of projector/hologram in the air via magic. It would be a great way to learn lore. Man there are so many possibilities.

Uh, we do have arenas already - for a start there is Mhi Khetto's Ampitheatre in Gridania.

Then there is Round Square at the Gold Saucer... but that's used for GATEs and you can only get up onto the stage during a GATE.

Either way there are already arenas in the game so this is kind of unnecessary.

Well there is Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre in Gridania, but aside from the seasonal events it's not really utilized for anything aside from maybe the occasional gathering.

On another game I used to play back in the day there were a lot of player made events like concerts that utilized a performance stage in game which was a nice thing to attend during downtime.
But aside from RPing there's nothing in XIV that could really make good use of the Amphitheatre so building another stage somewhere else would just leave it unused until a seasonal event rolls around.

Now we could throw wandering NPCs on the stage at random times like there are in other areas of the game, but that's probably not what you're looking for either since it doesn't require player interaction.
